Since 1928, The State Theatre of Ithaca has served as one of the most significant venues for performing arts in the Finger Lakes region. Named one of the 60 Most Significant Architectural Landmarks in New York State by The American Institute of Architects, The State is also on The National Register of Historic Places. With its 1,600-seat capacity, it has long been the largest venue of its kind in Ithaca.
